Data deletion

Version 2026-09-15. This is the text in force today; earlier versions are kept, and the version you accepted is recorded against your account.

In short. Agencies can export and delete their workspace themselves, or ask us. Creators can revoke access from Fanvue immediately. Fans can write to us and we will route the request to the agency that holds their data and confirm we have.

1.If you are an agency using sentryq Cloud

Everything in your workspace is yours to delete. Inside the workspace, Settings has an export that produces your conversations, fans, earnings and staff records, and a deletion request that closes the workspace.

You can also write to us from the account owner's email address asking us to close and delete a workspace. We will confirm it is you, tell you what will be deleted, and give you the export before we do anything irreversible.

We delete within 30 days of the request, or immediately if you ask us to skip the recovery window. Copies in backups are removed as those backups rotate out, within a further 30 days. We confirm in writing when it is done.

2.If you are a creator whose account an agency connected

Two things are separate, and you can do either.

To stop sentryq reading and writing on your account, revoke the application's access from your Fanvue account settings. That takes effect immediately and needs nothing from us.

To have the data already held about your account deleted from an agency's workspace, ask that agency: they are the controller for it and they have the tools. If you cannot reach them, write to us at the address below and we will contact them on your behalf and tell you what happens. We cannot delete an agency's records without their instruction, but we will not ignore you either.

3.If you are a fan who messaged a creator

The messages you sent are held by the platform you sent them on, and by the agency that manages that creator's account. sentryq Cloud is the software that agency uses.

Write to us at the address below with the platform, the creator's handle and the account you messaged from. We will identify which agency holds it, pass your request to them as the controller, and tell you that we have. Where you are entitled to deletion under data protection law, the agency is obliged to act, and we are obliged to help them do it.

We will never publish or forward the contents of your messages in the course of handling such a request.

4.Disconnect and purge, inside the CRM

The CRM has a specific action for ending a relationship with a creator cleanly: Disconnect and purge. It revokes the stored connection for that creator, stops all synchronisation, and removes their conversations, fan records, media references and analytics from the workspace.

It is deliberately separate from simply letting a licence lapse. A lapsed licence stops the synchronisation but keeps the history, because an agency that missed a payment should not lose a year of records. Purging is the irreversible one, so it asks for confirmation and is recorded in the audit log with who did it and when.

5.What we delete, and what we keep

Deleted: the workspace database and everything in it, the media bucket and its contents, the stored platform tokens, and the account records in our hub.

Kept, and why: a minimal record that a workspace with that subdomain existed and was deleted, with the date and the instruction, because we need to be able to evidence that we acted on the request. It contains no conversation, fan or staff data. Where tax or accounting law requires us to retain a transaction record, we retain that record and nothing more.

6.How long it takes

We acknowledge every deletion request within two business days.

An agency-initiated workspace deletion completes within 30 days, or immediately on request. A request passed to an agency as controller is subject to their response time, and data protection law generally gives them one month.

If a request is going to take longer than a month, we will tell you why before the month is up.

7.How to reach us

Write to hello@sentryq-va.com with "Data deletion" in the subject line. Tell us who you are, what you want deleted, and enough detail to find it — a subdomain, a creator handle, or the account you messaged from.

We will ask you to confirm you control the account the request concerns. A deletion carried out for the wrong person cannot be undone, which is why that step is not optional.

This page describes how we handle deletion requests. It is not legal advice, and it does not limit any right you have under data protection law.
